2026 promises to be a huge year for video games, and Xbox Game Pass members will have access to many new titles the moment they’re released.
Microsoft’s strategy of releasing all its exclusive games on the first day for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers has been very successful, and they have a lot of promising games planned for release this year.

February 2026
MENACE – Feb. 5
I’m so excited! MENACE, the new tactical RPG from the creators of Battle Brothers (Overhype Studios), is finally launching into early access on February 5, 2026. I even got to try out a demo already – you control a team fighting off an alien invasion, and it’s seriously good. It’s a turn-based strategy game, and I’ve been waiting for this after the slight delay last year!
High on Life 2 – Feb. 18
The sequel to Squanch Games’ High on Life, called High on Life 2, will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting February 18, 2026. Players can expect a fresh set of talking weapons with plenty of attitude.
May 2026
Forza Horizon 6 – May 19
The newest Forza Horizon game takes players to Japan, a location fans have been asking for! It features a huge, detailed Tokyo – five times bigger than any city seen in previous Forza Horizon games – and boasts a launch roster of over 500 cars.
