July 2025 Nintendo Direct Leaked for Next Week

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m eagerly anticipating the upcoming Nintendo Direct, set to stream in late July. Though the specifics about this event are still hazy, there’s a strong possibility that we might catch glimpses of titles like “Metroid Prime 4: Beyond” and several other intriguing third-party projects during this broadcast. Can’t wait!

The news broke out a few days following the July 2025 Pokemon Presents, an event highlighting updates for existing Pokemon games and offering additional information about previously announced ventures. Among other announcements, they disclosed the 2026 release date for Pokemon Champions, and the final part of the presentation focused on Pokemon Legends: Z-A. Fans were given a sneak peek at new characters from Pokemon Legends: Z-A, as well as the unveiling of Mega Dragonite, a brand-new Mega Evolution form for the franchise since its sixth generation. It was also confirmed that Pokemon Legends: Z-A will arrive with a Switch 2 bundle, set to launch on October 16 at $499.

Despite speculation about the exact timing of the upcoming Nintendo Direct episode in July, it appears that the broadcast is still expected to take place, according to CentroLeaks on Twitter. No specific details have been given about the content, but there have been hints that Nintendo’s third-party partners may be ready to announce projects for the Switch 2, though they are holding off until after the Nintendo Direct, which could potentially happen in the final week of July.

Rumor: Nintendo Direct Still Scheduled For Late July

It appears that certain third-party games, such as “Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles” and “Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake,” are planned to be released on Nintendo consoles. With Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show scheduled for August and September, it seems reasonable to expect a Nintendo Direct around late July. While “Pokemon Legends: Z-A” has a fixed release date, the launch of “Metroid Prime 4: Beyond” remains undated at this time for fans to look forward to.

Since Metroid Prime 4: Beyond doesn’t yet have a definite release date in 2025, a Nintendo Direct broadcast would be an excellent opportunity to announce it. But until Nintendo officially announces the next Direct’s airing date, any speculation should be considered with caution.
