The “Cozy Companions” event in Pokemon GO starts on August 6 at 10 am local time and concludes on August 12 at 8 pm local time. This event is particularly noteworthy as it introduces the dual-type Grass/Ice creatures, Snom and Frosmoth, from Generation 8.
Also similar to many other Pokemon GO events, you’ll have an opportunity to accomplish Research Tasks for some appealing prizes.

Pokemon GO Cozy Companions Event Bonuses
Until August 12 at 8 pm local time, Pokemon GO players can look forward to the following Bonuses…
- Double XP from hatching your Eggs.
- An extra Special Trade daily (more details on Special Trades here)
- If you use Party Play, the mouse Pokemon, Tandemaus (in all sizes), will show up more often.
- Pokemon’s friendship levels will increase faster, which will help a ton with evolving Snom into Frosmoth. You can increase friendship with a Pokemon by basically just interacting with it daily. Battle with them; go on Raids; open gifts, etc.

It’s important to mention that even after the event concludes, Snom can still emerge from eggs; however, this will only occur with 5 km eggs.
