On the first day of Gamescom 2025, major releases like “Call of Duty: Black Ops 7” were the highlight, but the event also offers spaces such as the “Home of Indies” and the “Indie Arena Booth.” In these zones, attendees can uncover fresh titles from studios like “Let Them Trade” by Spaceflower, “Media Circus” by Papercoda Games, and “Knightica” by Mad Mango Games. Beyond these specific areas, indie games were also a key part of the first day, with three of them grabbing the spotlight.

Lastly, “Compensation Not Guaranteed” evokes the success of “Papers, Please”, set in an anthropomorphic animal world where players must persuade citizens to surrender their land to the government.
