In the early stages of “Hell is Us“, you’ll find yourself unlocking the forge located in Jova Village. This task can be completed by progressing along the main quest line and saving Victor Gaz from the scene of the ON Convoy crash. After ensuring his safety, your first step will be to rummage through Vitalis’ basement items, followed by a trip to the forge in northwestern Jova.
If you’re finding it hard to find the smithy, search for a large sign, prominent over the town, as its distinct anvil emblem points to where the blacksmith’s workshop is located.
After Victor restarts the blacksmith’s workshop, upon entering via the main entrance, you’ll notice a yellow orbed object sitting on a petite workstation. Grab the item, and you’ll obtain another Lymbic Sword, along with a note titled “Training Ground.” This note serves as your starting point for the “Martial Lineage Mystery.
Uncover the Training Grounds Hint:
Upon examining the Training Grounds instructions, you’ll find reference to an entrance located beneath Monument Hill, along with the requirement to strike a sequence of pillars using a Lymbic weapon, but always moving in a direction opposite to a clock, commencing from the northeasternmost point.
Leaving the forge via the rear entrance, follow the path towards the patio’s edge, then gaze eastward, and there you’ll spot Monument Hill, easily identifiable by its three towering cubic structures. To kick off and complete the Martial Lineage Mystery, venture down to the hill’s base where these monuments stand.
How to Complete the Martial Lineage Training Grounds Mystery in Hell is Us
Look for the Oddly-Shaped Pillars at Monument Hill:
Upon reaching Monument Hill’s foot, move towards its northeastern side, specifically at the base of the eastern cliff. There, you’ll discover a stone door nestled within the hill, providing access underground, and four peculiar pillars nearby. These pillars seem to have a vessel-like bottom, with a pointed spike rising from the top.
To find the northeastern pillar first and assault it using any Lymbic weapon, note that it will pulse with energy afterwards. Subsequently, move around it in a circular motion, attacking each pillar as you go. If you initiate at the correct spot, you’ll finish with the pillar positioned directly in front of the training grounds entrance.

After hitting the fourth support, the heavy gate will swing open, granting you entry into the Training Grounds for Vigil.
