Skateboarding has tons of tricks to master, and you’ll often encounter challenges that push you to try something new. One particular Skate challenge asks you to land an Inward Heelflip.
In *Skate*, you use the right analog stick to do flip tricks. The game’s tutorial only covers a few basic ones, like Kickflips and Pop Shuvits. The rest are meant to be found as you explore the game’s world, San Vansterdam. But if you’re trying to complete a specific challenge in *Skate 4*, here’s how to land an Inward Heelflip.
How to Perform an Inward Heelflip in Skate 4
An Inward Heelflip is a bit harder than a regular Heelflip. To do it, start by moving the right stick down and towards your skater’s toes at an angle. Then, quickly push the stick straight down and back up at an angle towards the toes, similar to a regular flip trick. That initial angled downward movement is what turns it into an Inward Heelflip.
To land an Inward Heelflip properly, you need to perform the trick facing forward. If you skate goofy-footed, remember to reverse the directions you move the analog stick.
You can also do this trick in reverse by starting with a flick upwards. This creates a Nollie Inward Heelflip, and the game will still register it for any challenges. It might take some practice to get the hang of it, so find a good open space and keep trying until you master it.
Okay, so as a huge Skate 4 fan, I’ve learned that Inward Heelflips are super important! Not only do they help you get points for challenges all over San Van, but you *need* to know how to do them for the daily Trick challenges and other stuff. I’d recommend practicing the stick movements somewhere safe first, so you’re ready to land them on bigger, scarier jumps later on.
