I was so excited to see Konami’s announcement trailer for what they’re currently calling *Wai Wai World Craft*! It looks like a really cool game-making platform, kind of like *Roblox*, where you can build your own games. You can either tweak stuff that’s already there or use an AI helper called “MagicPod” to create things from scratch. The best part? It’s going to be packed with characters from all of Konami’s classic franchises, just like the old *Wai Wai World* games! It’s going to be free to play on Steam, iOS, and Android, and they’ll have microtransactions for items, but we don’t have a release date yet. I can’t wait!

The trailer for *Wai Wai World Craft* suggests it will let players easily edit existing maps and customize how the game is played. The official website confirms you can play with up to eight friends and share your creations in a community space. Although details are still scarce, many people are comparing it to *Roblox*, particularly because its social features look very similar to *Roblox*’s interface. Some are even calling it a Japanese version of the popular platform.

Sadly, *Wai Wai World Craft* might also be exclusive to Japan, as there’s been no announcement about an English version, even though it’s being promoted on Konami’s Japanese social media.

With recent legal issues and criticism surrounding Roblox, some believe now is a great time for Konami to launch *Wai Wai World Craft* in Western countries. A new competitor could give players more options and potentially encourage Roblox to improve its service. However, it’s still unclear whether Konami will expand the game internationally or keep it exclusive to Japan.
