Okay, so ReFantazio is turning one this Friday! They’re doing a surprise livestream to celebrate, and they’ve been teasing some kind of secret message they’re going to reveal. I’m definitely tuning in to see what it’s all about!
Atlus, the studio known for Persona 5, launched a new role-playing game last year called Metaphor: ReFantazio. Set in a beautiful medieval fantasy world, the game features exciting turn-based battles and quickly became a hit with players and critics. It even won several awards, including three Game Awards and IGN’s Game of the Year. Because of this success, the team is planning a celebration, and it sounds like they might also have some announcements to make.
Metaphor: ReFantazio Livestream on October 10th to Feature “Special Message”
Join us in celebrating the one-year anniversary of Metaphor: ReFantazio! 🎉 We’re hosting a special stream on the ATLUS West YouTube channel on October 10th.

There’s been talk that Metaphor: ReFantazio might come to the Nintendo Switch, especially since Atlus is already releasing Persona 3 Reload on the Switch this month. Considering how popular Metaphor: ReFantazio has been, we might also see new downloadable content or an upgraded version announced. A full sequel is probably a ways off, but it’s not impossible. If you’re curious about the game, it’s currently available on Xbox Game Pass. And for those who enjoyed exploring the world of Euchronia, expect to potentially return soon!
