In Ghost of Yotei, there are two types of currency. “Mon” is used for things like gambling, buying items, and improving your abilities. “Flowers” are specifically for cosmetic items – things that change how your character looks. You’ll earn plenty of Mon just by playing the game, but you’ll probably start running out of flowers relatively quickly.
Getting flowers is simple in *Ghost of Yotei*. A specific location in the Yotei Grasslands consistently spawns a Yotei’s Shadow Rose. Players can quickly collect it, reload from the last save point, and repeat the process. With practice, this method allows you to gather approximately 40 flowers every minute.
The Best Place to Farm Flowers in Ghost of Yotei
First, players should equip the Charm of Bountiful Harvest. You can find it on a tree stump southeast of Yotei’s Shadow Hot Spring. This charm will double or triple the number of flowers you get each time you pick them, making flower gathering much more efficient.

Players should then head southeast of the Home of the Storyteller – which is south of Lake Shikotsu – to find a Saito outpost near a crossroads. After clearing the outpost, search for a bright pink Yotei’s Shadow Rose growing on a cliff edge. Picking the rose will automatically save your progress and create a checkpoint.
Players can now go to the settings menu and select “Restart from Last Checkpoint.” This will make them respawn right next to the Yotei’s Shadow Rose, letting them collect it again immediately. By doing this repeatedly, they should be able to collect about 40 flowers every minute. This is good news, because they’ll need more than 1,000 flowers to buy all the armor dyes and cosmetic items in *Ghost of Yotei*.
