Battlefield 6 is designed to keep players engaged for a long time with a huge number of challenges, covering everything from weapon mastery to overall combat skills. However, some players are experiencing issues with challenges not registering properly, so here’s a breakdown of what’s causing these problems.
Battlefield 6 offers a lot of content and activities. With features like Mastery Camos and Challenges, there’s plenty to keep players engaged for a long time – perhaps even until the next installment, Battlefield 9. However, at launch, some players experienced issues with Challenges not registering correctly.
If this applies to you, we’ve got the latest from EA on the cause and potential fixes.
Battlefield 6 Challenges Not Tracking Issues, Explained
According to a statement from EA’s community manager, Battlefield 6 is designed as a constantly evolving game, so some problems are normal when it first launches. This explains why some in-game tracking might not work correctly at the beginning.
While it’s not a complete explanation, it’s understandable. No amount of alpha, beta, or open testing can completely eliminate errors in a game as large and content-rich as this one. Mistakes are bound to happen.
Expect them to be fixed when the devs get a chance.
Which Battlefield 6 Challenges Are Not Tracking?
In Battlefield 6, some Challenges related to resupplying teammates and using Supply Crates aren’t working correctly or tracking progress as expected.
According to EA Community Manager EA_Leeuw, as of October 13th, here’s a list of challenges that aren’t working as expected in Battlefield 6.
- “Challenges: “Resupply teammates with the Supply Pouch” is not tracking progress.
- Challenges: The Progress bar for “Repair Vehicles” does not update when repairs are made.
- Challenges: “Use Vehicle Supply Crate” does not progress even after completing the action.
- Challenges: The Weapon Expert Unit Challenge is not tracking correctly. The description says you must “Get a kill with each type of weapon in a match,” but the actual requirement is to get 15 longshot kills in a single match.
- Assignments: Helicopters are incorrectly counted as Ground Vehicles in the “Land Vehicle Expert“ assignment.
- Assignments: Helicopters are not counted properly in Vehicle Challenge 1.”
Look, as we fix some of the Challenges in the game, new ones might start bugging out – that’s just how online FPS games work, right? We’ve dealt with this forever in Call of Duty, and honestly, I’m worried Battlefield 6 players are gonna run into the same thing. So, keep an eye out for more updates and patches to get those Challenges tracking properly. We’re working on it!
When Will Battlefield 6 Challenges Be Fixed?
Battlefield 6 Challenges will be updated and fixed in “future updates.”
We received this update from a community manager at EA. For now, all we can do is be patient and watch for official announcements and patch notes, which will detail the fixes being implemented. You can also stay informed by checking the Battlefield Comms page to see what the development team is currently focused on.
We’ve published more guides for Battlefield 6, covering topics like adjusting your field of view (FOV), disabling crossplay, quickly earning XP and leveling up, and the best controller settings to use.
