How to Change Display Operator in Profile in Battlefield 6

After starting up Battlefield 6 or playing some online, players will likely visit their Profile section. Here, they can see stats like their Score and kill-to-death ratio, and customize their player card. When they first check this menu, they might notice the background image isn’t updating as expected.

If you’ve unlocked operators and skins in *Battlefield 6*, you might be annoyed that you can’t immediately change the background operator on this screen. Don’t worry though – there *is* a way to do it, it’s just a little hidden and easy to miss.

So, I checked my Profile and couldn’t find where to change my operator’s appearance. Turns out, you gotta go to the Loadout tabs instead! Just pick any class, and you’ll see all your loadouts. You can tweak and customize everything there, and down on the bottom left, there’s an option to either pick a pre-made loadout or create a completely custom one. That’s where the operator customization is hidden!

When you move your mouse over the loadout section, you’ll find a way to show which character and skin you’re currently using. Then, press the L3 button on your controller and go back to the Profile tab. You’ll see that the character shown has updated to reflect your current selection.

If you’d like to change your Faction or how your character looks, you can find those options in the Loadouts tab. There, you can select different operators and equip a skin if you’ve unlocked one.

One of the simplest ways to earn free skins is by playing the Campaign. You’ll need to collect dog tags to unlock them, which will take around 6 hours of playtime – though you can finish faster if you choose an easier difficulty setting.

As a player, one of the cool things I’ve discovered is that you can earn skins by tackling class challenges. These become available once you hit Rank 20, which is awesome!
