It’s Real: Monkey D. Dragon’s Defeat Is Inevitable In One Piece’s Final Saga

I’m really hooked on One Piece right now, especially since the story has moved into the Elbaf arc. It’s incredible watching Luffy and his crew battle the Holy Knights – they’re presented as the World Government’s most powerful fighters! What’s making things even more intense is that Saint Imu Nerona, who seems to be the strongest character in the series currently, is leading them. Although we’re following the Straw Hats’ journey, it feels like there’s a much bigger story unfolding beneath the surface.

Eiichiro Oda has confirmed that the final arc of One Piece won’t only follow Luffy and his crew. Other important groups, like the Revolutionary Army, will also be central to the story, meaning Monkey D. Dragon will likely play a significant role. Oda has hinted at Dragon’s ultimate fate, and it appears he is destined for defeat.

According to Eiichiro Oda, the final arc of One Piece will heavily feature its most important characters, and that definitely includes Luffy’s father, Monkey D. Dragon. In fact, Dragon is already playing a key role, as the attack on the Reverie – the biggest assault on the Holy Land in years – has brought the world to the brink of all-out war.

Dragon is determined to overthrow the Celestial Dragons and create a fairer world. Essentially, his greatest opponent is Imu, but defeating the all-powerful World King seems impossible.

Dragon Will Lose To Imu In One Piece

Imu Is One Of One Piece’s Final Villains

Imu is overwhelmingly powerful and will likely defeat Dragon. While Dragon has become incredibly strong, building a formidable army to challenge the World Government, he doesn’t realize just how powerful Imu is. The final arc of One Piece will reveal Imu’s true strength, and considering Dragon isn’t the main character, it’s highly improbable he’ll be able to win against Imu.

Ultimately, Dragon will be defeated, and his dream will be realized by his son, Luffy. This is because Luffy is the legendary Sun God Nika, and he’s the one fated to free the world. He will be the one to fight and overcome Imu, finally bringing true freedom to everyone. No matter how powerful Dragon becomes, he can’t achieve what is destined for Luffy.
