The Halo Insider Program has always kept dedicated fans up-to-date on opportunities to test upcoming Halo games. Now, players with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles will also be able to participate in these test sessions.
There’s been a lot of Halo news recently, particularly for PlayStation players! The biggest announcement was that the Halo Remake is coming to PlayStation 5, marking a significant step in collaboration between Xbox and PlayStation. PlayStation 4 and 5 gamers will now have the chance to try out Halo games before they’re officially released.
PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 Owners Can Playtest Future Halo Games
Many of you have probably been Halo Insiders for some time now. One of the best parts of the program is getting to try out early versions of upcoming Halo games – the ‘flights’ – and share your thoughts with the developers.
Previously, this perk was only available to players on Xbox and PC. Now, you’ll find new options within the Halo Insider Console Flighting settings on your account, meaning more people can participate.
We’ve personally checked, logged in, and can confirm that Halo Insider members will now have new options related to PlayStation.

In addition to the upcoming Halo: Campaign Evolved, there’s talk that a new, ongoing Halo game is being developed. There might be other projects happening that haven’t been announced yet. This suggests we’ll likely see more Halo content soon, and PlayStation players will be involved in testing it.
For fans of shooter games, the release date and times for Battlefield 6’s Battle Royale mode have been announced. And if you’re interested in Halo, the ‘Library’ level in Halo: Combat Evolved is currently being updated.
