In Duet Night Abyss, players can select from a few different languages. Language choice is important for enjoying any game, as it helps you feel more connected to the experience. It’s a good idea to choose the language you prefer most.
How To Change Language In Duet Night Abyss
To switch languages in Duet Night Abyss, go to the settings menu and select the ‘Language’ tab. You’ll find the ‘VO Language’ (Voice-Over Language) option there, and just below it, you’ll see ‘VO Assets Management’.
To see a list of all languages offered, click here. You can select from Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. Each language file is a different size, so please download the one you want within the game’s DNA system before making your selection.
Here are all the sizes:
| Language | Size |
|---|---|
| Chinese | 737MB |
| English | 810MB |
| Japanese | 869MB |
| Korean | 688MB |
After the language finishes downloading, close the VO Assets Management tool and activate the new language. Characters will now speak in the selected language without requiring a game restart.
How To Delete Language In Duet Night Abyss
Duet Night Abyss can take up a lot of storage space. If you’re running low on space, you can remove languages you don’t need. Simply return to the language settings menu, then go back to the VO Assets Management menu. Select the language you want to remove and press ‘Uninstall’ to delete it from the game.
You can’t remove a language unless you’ve already picked a different one. Feel free to download and delete languages as often as you like to find the one that suits you, as long as you have enough storage space.
What Language Should You Choose In Duet Night Abyss
Simply choose the language you’re most comfortable with in Duet Night Abyss. Using English, for instance, lets you fully enjoy the game by understanding the characters’ dialogue while you play, explore, and battle. The text appears in a small box at the bottom left of the screen, so selecting a language you don’t know means you’ll have to constantly read it to keep up.
However, selecting a different language could enhance your experience and draw you deeper into the story. Considering the game was created by Pan Studio and published by Hero Games, both based in Beijing, China, the original language for Duet Night Abyss might be Chinese. Also, the quality of the voice acting can vary between languages, and you might simply prefer how the actors sound in one language over another.
