As Microsoft invests more in artificial intelligence, both gamers and people who work at the company might worry about AI being used extensively in future game development. However, Xbox head Phil Spencer has stated that Microsoft won’t require its employees to use AI tools.
He explained that teams are free to decide if and how they use AI. He’s noticed creative teams naturally adopt tools that help them work more efficiently, and forcing them to use specific tools isn’t effective.
