In Outer Worlds 2, players can discover lots of hidden areas and challenging puzzles by exploring beyond the main path. These often reward you with special items you won’t find anywhere else. For example, on Free Market Station, there’s a puzzle called Otto’s Lock, which requires players to flip 11 switches in the correct sequence.
Otto’s Lock puzzle in Outer Worlds 2 can seem really tricky because the game doesn’t give you any obvious clues. You’ll eventually find a tool that helps you solve it as you play, but if you want to skip the hassle and solve it right away, this guide is for you!
Where to Find Otto’s Puzzle in Outer Worlds 2
Find the Coordinates to Free Market Station
To locate Otto’s Puzzle in Outer Worlds 2, players need to travel to Free Market Station. You’ll receive the coordinates for this Sub Rosa headquarters by completing tasks for members of the Sub Rosa faction.
Near the start of the game, you have the option to assist Emeline Galloway, the gardener at Fairfield’s greenhouse, with removing evidence of Sub Rosa’s activity in the area. If you help her, she’ll give you the location of Free Market Station and improve your standing with the Sub Rosa faction.
When you reach Free Market Station, walk straight ahead through the main entrance. You’ll find a room with a shimmering Rift Anomaly on your left. Enter that room and look to your right for a small opening that leads to another area.
Crawl through, go left, then climb up a ladder to find Otto’s puzzle location in Outer Worlds 2.
