To celebrate its first anniversary, Pokemon TCG Pocket is offering a beautiful, full-art Pikachu promo card. While the mobile game is celebrating a very successful year with special events and giveaways, getting this Pikachu card will require a purchase. The game recently added the promo card as a bonus for players who purchase a premium package.

Although Pokemon TCG Pocket highlights its free daily packs, The Pokemon Company provides several options for players to get even more content. The game’s Premium Pass gives players an additional daily pack, special challenges to earn rewards, and access to an exclusive shop filled with unique cards and customization items. A new promotional card is now being added as a perk for Premium Pass holders.

On Friday, Pokemon TCG Pocket announced a new promotional Pikachu card available through its Premium Pass. This special card showcases Pikachu with unique full artwork and a “Spark” attack that does extra damage to Pokemon on the Bench. Players can get the Pikachu promo simply by subscribing to the Premium Pass, or by using one Premium Ticket. The Premium Pass update also includes new cosmetic items themed around “Mega Rising,” such as card sleeves, field artwork, and a coin featuring Mega Blaziken ex.

It also appeared on a special New Year’s card with the original Kanto starters, given out as a login bonus during a New Year’s event. Plus, Pikachu was one of the first Pokemon to get an ‘immersive art’ card, released in the “Genetic Apex” expansion.
