While most people who bought Battlefield 6 enjoy playing with others online, a significant number have also finished the game’s single-player story. Battlefield 6 was released in October and quickly became a commercial success, receiving generally favorable reviews and strong sales for EA. Hundreds of thousands still play the game on Steam every day, and EA has big plans to continue supporting it with new content and updates.

Despite some issues and negative feedback, Battlefield 6 is maintaining strong player interest, and EA seems committed to continuing that success. The game’s first season introduced new maps and a battle royale mode, and players are eager to see what’s next in 2026. Interestingly, while most fans enjoy the multiplayer action, a significant number have also completed the single-player campaign.
Battlefield 6 Campaign Completion Rate by Platform
- 10.53% – Xbox
 - 9.4% – Steam
 - 9.3% – PS5

Okay, so I’ve been checking out the reviews for Battlefield 6, and honestly, pretty much everyone agrees the single-player campaign is the weakest part of the game. The story just felt…flat, and it didn’t really bring anything new to the table. I actually described it as feeling like Battlefield trying to be Call of Duty, and I wasn’t a fan. But it’s interesting – even though people didn’t love it, a decent chunk still finished it! About 9.3% of PlayStation 5 players, 9.4% on Steam, and even 10.53% on Xbox managed to get the achievement for beating the campaign. So, it wasn’t terrible, just…underwhelming.
While 10% might not sound like a huge number, it’s actually higher than I anticipated. For instance, on Steam, only 6.5% of players who played Battlefield 1 finished its campaign on Normal difficulty. I thought Battlefield 6 would have a similar completion rate, so I’m surprised to see it’s nearing 10% on both PlayStation 5 and Steam, and even higher on Xbox. In comparison, only 1.5% of Call of Duty players completed Black Ops 6’s campaign on Steam. The Modern Warfare 2 reboot from 2022, which introduced the unified Call of Duty system and is a more relevant comparison, has a completion rate of 5.8%. It’s important to remember this isn’t a perfect comparison, though. The Call of Duty stats include players from Modern Warfare 2 (2022) all the way to Black Ops 6 (2025), which likely affects the overall numbers.
It’s surprising to see these completion rates, especially considering the Battlefield 6 battle royale mode is free to play. While the battle royale can be played on its own, its achievements are tied to the full Battlefield 6 game. This suggests either not many new players tried the battle royale, or a larger number of existing Battlefield 6 owners finished the main game than expected.
The surprisingly high number of players finishing the Battlefield 6 campaign might be because of unique rewards offered for completing it. Regardless, it will be fascinating to watch how the game’s achievement statistics change over time as more people play.
