I usually don’t focus much on collecting items in games, but ARC Raiders has really changed that for me. It’s the first time I truly understand why people enjoy “extraction shooter” games, and I’m completely hooked.
A great way to find really good, rare items in ARC Raiders is to locate keys and use them to unlock special rooms. But, as with most things in the game, it’s not as straightforward as it sounds.
Okay, so I know a lot of us are stuck trying to figure out where that Buried City Hospital Key goes, or maybe we’ve found the room but are missing the key itself. Either way, I’ve got some info that should help!
How To Find The Buried City Hospital Key
It’s impossible to give specific locations for items in ARC Raiders because loot appears randomly each time you play. This means every map feels different, as the items aren’t always in the same places.
I can tell you where I found the Buried City Hospital Key. I discovered it at the Ruby Residence apartments, which are in the northwest part of Dam Battlegrounds.
You’ll recognize the location by the three bright red apartment buildings grouped together. Check every room on all floors of each building – with a little luck, you might find a key or two.
You can probably find the Buried City Hospital Key in other places, but I had success at Ruby Residence, and it seems like many other people did too.
If you die after getting a key but before escaping with it, you’ll lose the key. It’s a good idea to keep any keys you find in a Safe Pocket, as they’re very valuable and helpful throughout the game.
Where To Use The Buried City Hospital Key
The Buried City Hospital Key is used, unsurprisingly, within the hospital building on the Buried City map. If you check your map, you’ll find the hospital marked as a red rectangle in the north of the city.
Red zones are usually very dangerous, but this hospital isn’t as bad as you might expect. As you get closer, you’ll see the large building you’re looking for.
Go inside on the ground floor, right by the entrance to the Northern Metro Station. Remember this location – it’s the best place to escape with everything you collect.
Head through the doorway which reads “OSPEDALE” at the top.
To your left are some stairs. Take them up to the third floor.
Once on the third floor, turn left, and head all the way down this long hallway.
Watch for ARC patrolling the hallways.
Walk to the end of the hallway, then turn left. You’ll enter a room with red lockers and clothes hanging up. Walk across the room and go out the door on the opposite side.
Turn right immediately. You’ll see a locked door that your key fits. Use the key to open the door and go inside.
Okay, so I’ve found about ten different places to search in here – time to get looting! Once I’m done grabbing everything, I’m heading straight back to the ground floor and getting out through the Northern Metro Station. Gotta get my stuff back to base safe and sound!
Buried City Hospital Key Rewards
The items you find in the locked hospital room will be different each time, but they’ll definitely be valuable enough to make the challenge worthwhile.
