ARC Raiders delivers a fun experience within the extraction shooter genre. It features plenty of missions that encourage players to thoroughly explore and learn each map.
Some quests give useful hints about locations, but others aren’t very helpful. The ‘Reduced to Rubble‘ quest is a good example of one that doesn’t provide much guidance.
This guide will walk you through starting and finishing the quest. It’s completed in four steps, and we’ll go through them in the order you need to complete them.
How to Start Reduced to Rubble
Before you can start this adventure, you’ll need to finish the “A First Foothold” quest. You’ll also need to unlock the Blue Gate to access the area.
After starting the quest, go to Shani to get the details. She’ll send you to Blue Gate to photograph the damaged highway and complete the task.
How to Complete Reduced to Rubble
This task can be tricky because you’ll either need to start in the right location, or you’ll have a long journey ahead of you. You’ll be searching for two specific goals to complete it.
You can complete all of these steps at once, but they need to be done in a certain order. If you’re collecting items or are short on time, it’s easier to break it up into two parts.
Broken Bridge — Collapsed Highway
To find what you’re looking for, go northwest of the Collapsed Highway. Look for a path within a groove or track in the ground.
It’s located right behind the pillar supporting the remaining section of the highway. After you get your picture, follow the track – it will guide you to where you need to go next.
If you’ve already collected items, you could head home now, as there’s an extraction point close by where you can safely secure your loot.
ARC Machine — Broken Earth
Travel to the Broken Earth location. Once there, continue northeast, following the familiar rut in the road.
As you travel from Broken Earth, you’ll come across a massive ARC structure. Getting closer will trigger a change in your current quest, and you’ll be able to examine and interact with a broken leg piece located there.
Once you’ve finished up, you can either explore the area or go back home. There aren’t a lot of interesting places near Broken Earth, but you’re welcome to do as you please.
Reduced to Rubble Rewards
After returning home, whether you had a smooth journey or not, head back to Shani to get your rewards. Don’t forget to claim them – you’ll need to in order to continue and receive everything you’ve earned.
You’ll be getting three rewards, each of which are utility items:
- Zipline
- Barricade Kit
- Door Blocker
Although it’s generally not a good idea, you can still do this during a Night Raid. Just be extra cautious with any valuable items you’ve found.
