On November 13th, the Epic Games Store will be giving away two free games: ScourgeBringer and Songs of Silence. Normally valued at around $47 total, this is the first time either game has been available for free to Epic Games Store players.
So, last week Epic was giving away those spooky games, Bendy and the Ink Machine and Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit – they were worth around $40 total. But that deal’s over now! They’ve switched it up and are now letting us grab Felix the Reaper for free, plus a huge bundle of stuff for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms. It’s a sweet replacement, honestly!
The Epic Games Store has announced next week’s free games following today’s giveaway. Starting next Thursday, November 13th at 8am PT / 11am ET / 5pm CET, players can claim both ScourgeBringer and Songs of Silence for free. These games normally cost a combined $46.98 and will be available to add to your account for one week.

What Is ScourgeBringer?
Developed by the small French team at Flying Oak Games, with help from E-Studio, ScourgeBringer is a fast-paced roguelike platformer known for its incredibly smooth controls and freedom of movement. Players control Kyhra, who can quickly dash, run on walls, and double-jump while skillfully using both a sword and a gun. The game encourages constant, aggressive play, requiring players to move rapidly, defeat enemies, and dodge a barrage of projectiles. Critics responded positively to ScourgeBringer, giving it a “Strong” rating on OpenCritic with an average score of 81 and an 83% recommendation rate. Praised features include its precise controls, challenging boss battles, unique post-apocalyptic world, and rewarding character progression.
What Is Songs of Silence?
Developed by German studio Chimera Entertainment, Songs of Silence is a unique game that combines the strategic planning of 4X games with the card-collecting and automatic combat of other popular genres. Players will explore new lands, build and manage cities, create armies, and fight battles using hero abilities represented as cards. Released in 2024, Songs of Silence has received a “Strong” rating on OpenCritic, averaging a score of 78 with 67% of critics recommending it.
Before the new free games become available on November 13th, Epic Games Store users can currently get Felix the Reaper and a bonus pack called Nixie’s Renown for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms.
