The latest Roots update for PEAK includes 11 new badges, all tied to the mysteries, glowing plants, and fungi found in the new area. A particularly challenging badge is the Mycoacrobatics Badge, which tests your skill with PEAK’s unique movement controls – you’ll need to bounce a total of 40 meters into the air using mushrooms to earn it.
Okay, so getting up to that height seems simple, but trust me, it takes a lot of figuring out when and how to jump. You really need to think about your timing and get a little inventive with your approach. This guide is going to walk you through everything you need to do to nail that 40-meter bounce and finally get your Mycoacrobatics Badge in PEAK.
How to Get the Mycoacrobatics Badge in PEAK
Although you can earn the Mycoacrobatics Badge by using the glowing red mushrooms found in the Roots biome, there are two faster and more efficient ways to reach the necessary height.
Jumping on Big Red Mushrooms

To get this badge quickly and easily, head to the PEAK area and find one of the large red mushrooms in the Roots biome. Simply jump onto a mushroom and try to land in the middle.
Keep jumping on the same mushroom to climb higher and higher. Eventually, you’ll reach 40 meters, which is the easiest and most dependable way to earn the badge.
A lot of players believe you can get this badge by opening and holding a parasol while jumping on a mushroom, but we’ve tried it and haven’t been able to make it work consistently.
Using Bounce Fungus

You can also use the Bounce Fungus, a new item you can find in the Roots biome. Placing it on the ground creates a bouncy mushroom pad. To use it, jump down onto the pad from a good height, and then press the spacebar as soon as you land to get an extra boost upwards.
Timing is crucial! Jumping too soon or too late won’t give you a good bounce. Falling from too high can hurt you or even knock you out before the game recognizes your jump. The best way to succeed is to fall from a moderate height, land right in the middle of the Bounce Fungus, and press the jump button at just the right moment.
If you perform this successfully, you’ll reach the necessary height of 40 meters and instantly earn the Mycoacrobatics Badge.
Mycoacrobatics Badge Rewards
Once you climb to 40 meters, you’ll immediately earn the Mycoacrobatics badge! As a bonus, you’ll receive the Fairy Hat and Fairy Outfit, which are beautiful, magical items that fit right in with the glowing, mystical atmosphere of the Roots biome.
