Despite multiple attempts at peace talks and reconciliation, the two groups have consistently failed to resolve their differences.

Things quickly escalated after Dura, the most powerful of the Rumelians, was killed in a duel with Dabura, who turned out to be a champion of Deskunte. This caused a lot of anger and resentment. As shown in chapter 9 of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, the Rumelians were forced to escape Simuria, taking as much Mul as they could to protect their people and possessions from Deskunte’s army.

Led by Cross and Maru, along with Jabaloma and even Dabura – the one who killed Dura and was also his closest friend – the Rumelians searched for a new planet with friendly inhabitants. But fleeing Simuria with valuable resources has made them targets for the relentless Deskuntes, who are pursuing them across the galaxy, all the way to Earth.

They also possess a special ore that allows them to transform Rolloluca into any type of energy.

Viewers have already seen how powerful Maru and Cross are in the manga, establishing them as two of the strongest characters currently in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. Dura and Dabura are even more formidable, exceeding the power and fighting skills of most others. While they first seemed like the new villains of Jujutsu Kaisen, learning about their pasts has made things more complicated.
