The first map in Arc Raiders, Dam Battlegrounds, is where players will spend a lot of their time. It’s a well-designed map filled with quests that encourage exploration. One of these quests, called Balanced Harvest, is connected to the Research and Administration building.

A Balanced Harvest Quest Guide in Arc Raiders
Okay, so I talked to Celeste and got the quest. Now I’m heading into Dam Battlegrounds, specifically to Research and Administration. The best way to get in is from the south – that lets me take the blue stairs up to the top. Heads up, though! There’s usually a Sentinel chilling on the wall above those stairs, so I need to take it down first. Luckily, it drops the Sentinel Firing Core, which is exactly what I need to upgrade my Gunsmith station to level 3.
After entering the building, don’t go through the door on the left – instead, head right. Go through the door ahead and turn left. This will lead you down a hallway with rooms on both sides. Lab 1 is what you’re looking for, and it’s directly in front of you on the right side. It’s located near the lockers and showers.
Once you enter the room, walk through the doorway and click on the notes on the table. This will finish the quest, and you’re free to leave whenever you want.
The nearest place to leave will be the Water Treatment elevator. However, since you’re already in the R&D building, it’s worth searching all the lockers and the medical room first. You can find valuable items there, including rare trinkets that can sell for between seven and ten thousand credits.
Go to the Vendors tab in the main menu and turn in the quest to get the following rewards:
- Advanced Mechanical Components x3
- Medium Gun Parts x3
- Steel Spring x10
