The Exoskeleton from Death Stranding 2 will be available to buy and use starting in December 2025, but quantities will be limited.
I’m so hyped for more Death Stranding content! We’re all waiting to see what happens with the A24 movie and the new animated project, but it looks like we won’t have to wait too long for something cool. Kojima Productions is teaming up with Dnsys to make a real-life DS2 Exoskeleton – basically, a wearable suit inspired by the game! Here’s the lowdown on what we know so far.
Death Stranding 2 Exoskeleton Works Similar to the Ones in the Game
Kojima Productions and Dnsys have teamed up to create a limited-edition exoskeleton for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The design was a joint effort between Yoji Shinkawa, art director at Kojima Productions, and the Dnsys team. The Dnsys Z1 Exoskeleton Pro will be available starting December 2, 2025.

Just like in the game Death Stranding, the Dnsys Z1 Exoskeleton Pro is designed to make it easier to travel across difficult landscapes. It gives you a boost to your legs, adding 50% more power to each step. This also significantly improves your stamina, letting you hike an extra 15.5 miles and climb 9.3 miles higher.
This exoskeleton is designed to significantly reduce stress on the knees, potentially offloading up to twice a user’s body weight. It can make you feel up to 44 pounds lighter when moving vertically. The device uses artificial intelligence to adapt to different terrains like rough trails, stairs, and hills, and offers over four hours of continuous support with easily replaceable batteries.
Here’s a quick update: Hideo Kojima has outlined the story idea for a third Death Stranding game, but won’t be directing it. Also, earlier this year, some players found a way around UK age verification rules using the photo mode in Death Stranding 2.
