If you’ve explored The Blue Gate map in ARC Raiders, you may have found the Ancient Fort—a crumbling fortress on a hilltop. At the base of the fort is a locked cellar containing some of the best items in the game. To open it, you’ll need to find three fuses hidden around the Ancient Fort. This guide will show you exactly where to find them and unlock the cellar quickly.
How to Complete the Ancient Fort Puzzle in ARC Raiders
In ARC Raiders, you’ll find the Ancient Fort at the very southern edge of the Blue Gate map. It’s a good place to find decent loot, but be prepared to encounter other players and some ARC machines. Once you get there, look for the locked cellar door on the west side of the fort – it has three light bulbs, just like the one at Raider’s Refuge.
To unlock the cellar door, you’ll need to find three fuses (or power cells) hidden around and inside the fort. Once you have them, place each one into one of the three fuse boxes located within the Ancient Fort. Below, you’ll find details on where to find each fuse box.
- Fuze Box 1: Found at the base of the south wall of the Ancient Fort, on the exterior.
- Fuze Box 2: Found just the first set of steps inside the Fort, in the second-floor courtyard.
- Fuze Box 3: Located inside the fort’s main building on the second floor, next to the ladder that is used to reach the top.
All Ancient Fort Fuze Locations in ARC Raiders

Okay, so I’ve been exploring the Ancient Fort a lot, and while there are probably other places to find fuze cells, these are the spots I keep hitting most often. Just thought I’d share what’s been working for me!

We’ll start by listing the fuze locations from the west side of the Ancient Fort in ARC Raiders. Look to the west of the Fort, inside a derelict home with a pole inside it. |

Head further northeast, opposite to the fifth fuze location, to find another destroyed house with shelves and a sofa. There’s a wooden pallet inside that may spawn a fuze cell for the Ancient Fort. |

Keep following the road to the west, past the fallen pole, to spot another broken house structure. There’s a wooden pallet outside the house which can spawn one of the fuze cells for the Ancient Fort in ARC Raiders. |

Head inside the Ancient Fort, take a right from the first flight of stairs to arrive in a room with a hole in the ceiling. There’s a wooden pallet near the lockers that can spawn one of the power cells/fuze. |

Head to the top of the Ancient Fort in ARC Raiders using the ladder near the third fuze box to find a wooden pallet next to the large antenna. This can also spawn a fuze to complete the Ancient Fort puzzle. |
After you collect all three fuze cells in ARC Raiders, you can place them in the fuze boxes to unlock the cellar door of the Ancient Fort and solve its puzzle. Inside, you’ll find a weapon case and plenty of containers like drawers, cabinets, and metal panels, all containing valuable loot.
Grab loot quickly and head to the nearest extraction point to avoid being attacked by other players. For extra safety, keep your most valuable item in your Safe Pocket – that way, it’ll automatically be extracted if you’re defeated in ARC Raiders.
