Big FPS Games Officially Coming In 2026

2025 has been a good year for first-person shooter fans, with several new games available. Battlefield 6 has been particularly popular, topping charts with its exciting multiplayer and action-packed story mode. Electronic Arts (EA) also released Battlefield REDSEC, a free-to-play battle royale game in the Battlefield series.

Shooter fans have a lot to look forward to! Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will offer a variety of game modes, and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond promises a strong single-player campaign. Troy Baker, a well-known voice actor from the gaming world, will be voicing the character Jack, which should give the game a serious and impactful feel. Players will be able to do more than just shoot – they can also fight with punches, use dynamite, and even take pictures. There’s nothing else quite like Mouse: P.I. For Hire expected to release in 2026.

The world around them is becoming increasingly dangerous as people begin to transform into monstrous creatures, blending historical fantasy with the challenging, action-packed gameplay of a Soulslike game.

While not a traditional shooting game, Valor Mortis will feature a wide range of weapons for combat, including pistols, rifles, and swords. It also appears the game will incorporate magical abilities or a similar power system.

Penn isn’t by himself – he’s joined by a mouse friend who communicates using a device similar to a Tamagotchi. This unique duo, along with the game’s weapons and setting, make Animal Use Protocol really stand out. It’s expected to be a scary experience when it releases next year, and fans are hoping it will be available on platforms beyond just PCs.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is the follow-up to the popular 2021 game, Hell Let Loose. Hell Let Loose: Vietnam feels a lot like a Vietnam-era Battlefield game, offering a huge selection of weapons and different soldier types. Although a single-player campaign would have been great, fans of online multiplayer will definitely enjoy this new release.
