SEGA Announces 10% Salary Increase For All Employees

I’m really happy to hear that SEGA is giving all its employees a 10% raise starting in April 2026! It’s awesome that they’re building on the pay increases they already gave in 2023 โ€“ it shows they really value their team.

Starting April 1, 2026, we’re increasing base salaries for both current and new employees. This change will significantly benefit everyone at the company.

SEGA Boosts Salaries Once Again

I was so happy to hear that SEGA announced they’re giving raises to their employees! They put out a statement saying they’re adjusting salaries for everyone and increasing starting pay for new hires. It sounds like they really want to make sure their team feels financially secure with everything going on and prices going up, which is awesome to see.

SEGA plans to hire and train talented people to improve its position in the global market.

Starting next year, SEGA Japan will raise employee salaries by roughly 10% on average. New university graduates will see their starting salaries increase from 300,000 yen to 330,000 yen, which is about a $193 raise.

In addition to increasing salaries, SEGA is introducing a new system to reward employees based on their job and performance. They’re also expanding programs to help employees achieve a better work-life balance and find working arrangements that fit their individual needs.

This covers two main programs: โ€˜Fami+โ€™, which helps with childcare and eldercare, and โ€˜Job+โ€™, which encourages people to take on side projects and develop new ideas.

This salary increase follows a significant 30% raise given to base salaries three years ago in 2023.
