Masashi Kishimoto Proves Again Naruto’s Next Power Up Is On The Way

Fans have been anticipating Naruto Uzumaki’s return ever since he was sealed away in the Boruto series. As many remember, Naruto, who was the Seventh Hokage, was sealed by Kawaki near the end of the first part of Boruto. Kawaki did this hoping to protect Naruto and Boruto from the Otsutsuki clan by eliminating them. Now, with the start of the Two Blue Vortex arc, fans are confident that Naruto will eventually return.

Everyone agrees Naruto will eventually return, but fans are most concerned about how strong he’ll be. Losing Kurama significantly weakened Naruto, making it difficult for him to protect his village as he once did – unless he gains new abilities. Luckily, the Boruto series is now establishing the groundwork for a power boost for him, and the series supervisor, Masashi Kishimoto, has confirmed that Naruto will indeed become more powerful again.

Sasuke’s Sword Upgrade Means Naruto Will Get A Power Up Too

Recently in the Boruto series, Sasuke Uchiha unexpectedly gained a significant power boost, even though he wasn’t actively part of the main storyline. Like Naruto, Sasuke was effectively removed from the action – in his case, by being transformed into a tree during a fight with Code. This transformation resulted in his chakra creating Hidari, a very powerful being. With Sasuke absent, Boruto Uzumaki has stepped up, honoring him by wearing his clothes and even using his sword.

Boruto will eventually give the sword back to Sasuke, but it won’t be the same one. It’s been enhanced with futuristic technology, making Sasuke even more powerful when he comes back. This means Naruto will likely need to become stronger as well to keep up.

A long time ago, the creator of the series, Kishimoto, stated that Naruto and Sasuke’s strength is linked – as one gets stronger, so does the other. With Sasuke potentially returning with a powerful new weapon, it’s almost certain that Naruto will also receive a significant power boost to keep pace.

Naruto Needs Something New To Fight At The Top Level

When Naruto reappears in the Boruto series, his current abilities won’t be strong enough to handle the most powerful enemies, like the Shinju or the Otsutsuki. He currently relies on Sage Mode, which isn’t sufficient for those threats. The creators, Ikemoto and Kishimoto, need to find a way to make him stronger. One possibility is giving him a new power boost using the scientific advancements Konoha is developing. However, it would be even more effective if he could reconnect with the Tailed Beasts.

Fans Want Tailed Beast Power For Naruto

Even though Naruto no longer has the power of Kurama, the other Tailed Beasts are still out there. He could potentially connect with them again, which would restore his incredible strength. Throughout the Boruto series, Naruto needs to become more powerful, and fans are eager to see him do so. He’s been sidelined for a while now, and it’s time for the Seventh Hokage to prove his abilities once more.
