On November 17th, Blizzard is testing the “Midnight” Pre-Patch event for World of Warcraft with its development team. Players who are part of the World of Warcraft: Midnight beta program will get a first look at the event before it’s released to everyone next year.
The beta test for WoW: Midnight is now live! Players who sign up on the Blizzard website or pre-order the Epic Edition can explore most of the new content in the World of Warcraft expansion, including all the new areas, dungeons, and class updates. They’ll also be able to play as the Haranir Allied Race.
How to Participate in the WoW: Midnight Pre-Patch Event Test
Soon, players in the World of Warcraft beta will get a chance to try out the Midnight Pre-Patch event. A special realm called “Midnight Prelaunch Event” will be available starting November 17th at 11 AM Pacific Time for about two hours, allowing players to copy their characters and experience the event. Even better, World of Warcraft developers will be joining in, giving fans a chance to test the event and meet the team!
- When: Monday, November 17, from 11 PT – 1 PT
- Where: World of Warcraft: Midnight Beta, “Midnight Prelaunch Event” Realm
- Realm opens when the event starts and closes a short period after the listed time
- How: Copy a character from World of Warcraft: The War Within
A recent forum post revealed details about a new event leading up to the release of World of Warcraft: Midnight. Players will team up with Umbric and Rommath to investigate the growing threat of the Twilight’s Blade – a group connected to Xal’atath and the Twilight’s Hammer – and venture into the Twilight Highlands to stop them. The event will unfold quickly and will be easily accessible through the Event Tracker on the in-game map. Players can begin by accepting a quest called “The Cult Within,” available in either Stormwind or Orgrimmar.
Before jumping into the event, players should familiarize themselves with their chosen class and specialization. WoW: Midnight significantly changes how all classes play, so getting prepared beforehand will help you perform your best against the Twilight’s Blade.
We don’t have a confirmed date for when the World of Warcraft: Midnight pre-patch event will start, but it looks like it could begin as early as January 20th, right after the Legion Remix event finishes. Although a beta key is needed to test the pre-patch, players will be able to experience the event itself even if they haven’t purchased Midnight yet.
