According to a source familiar with the project, Resident Evil Requiem will receive at least one downloadable content pack, and work on it is already underway.
The new Resident Evil game, Requiem, isn’t out until next year, so fans are currently relying on leaked information to tide them over. The producer recently responded to rumors about a leaked photo showing Leon Kennedy wearing an eye patch, and now, a source has shared some details about the game’s downloadable content.
Resident Evil Requiem DLC Might Star Alyssa
As a big Resident Evil fan, I’m super excited about the news coming from Dusk Golem, who’s usually spot-on with leaks! They just posted on X (formerly Twitter) that there’s definitely a DLC in the works for Resident Evil Requiem. Apparently, it’s going to star Alyssa Ashcroft! They’ve mentioned before that Alyssa is actually the huge monster we see chasing Grace in the trailer, and we’ll even get to play as her for a while in the game. This is awesome!
When asked about Leon Kennedy’s role in the new game, Dusk Golem explained they don’t have a detailed plan to share. However, they mentioned Leon will have some of the largest levels ever seen in the series. Keep in mind this information isn’t official, so it’s best to view it with a bit of skepticism.
Capcom is predicting that the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem will outperform Resident Evil Village in sales. They’ve also explained their decision to remove the multiplayer feature from the game.
