Conqueror’s Haki is a remarkably powerful ability in One Piece, but it’s very rare. Only the strongest characters, or those with immense ambition, can use it. It’s said that only one in a million people possess this type of Haki, and even then, very few actually awaken its full potential.
Conqueror’s Haki is a powerful ability that lets someone dominate the will of others, frightening or even knocking them unconscious. At its highest level, it greatly boosts a person’s attack and defense. It’s a crucial skill in battles, as many fans know. While not everyone in the Straw Hat Pirates has it, several crew members have the potential to develop this ability in the world of One Piece.
This article focuses on characters who haven’t yet developed Conqueror’s Haki, so it won’t discuss those who already have it, like Luffy and Zoro.
Chopper
Chopper is the Straw Hat Pirates’ doctor and a strong fighter. He’s incredibly powerful thanks to his Devil Fruit and Rumble Balls. However, it’s unlikely he’ll ever develop Conqueror’s Haki.
He has absolutely no chance of gaining this power, and no matter what happens next, he’ll never be able to use it.
Franky
Franky, the shipwright of the Strawhat Pirates, doesn’t seem likely to develop Conqueror’s Haki. While he’s undoubtedly strong, he hasn’t even mastered the basic forms of Haki, making it a very distant possibility. It’s highly improbable that he’ll ever awaken this powerful ability during the story.
Brook
Brook is a truly one-of-a-kind fighter in the world of One Piece. He possesses the power of the Yomi Yomi no Mi, allowing him to wield the icy power of the underworld through his sword, Soul Solid. As a skilled and reliable member of a Yonko crew, Brook is a force to be reckoned with.
Considering Brook’s abilities, it’s more fitting for him to develop Observation and Armament Haki rather than Conqueror’s Haki. Like other characters, he probably won’t ever master the advanced form of Conqueror’s Haki, known as awakening.
Jinbe
Jinbe is a highly skilled navigator and is also known for his immense strength. He’s a very respected figure, often called the Knight of the Sea. Jinbe carries on the legacies and fulfills the hopes of both Otohime and Fisher Tiger.
He definitely has a strong will, but it’s unlikely he’ll develop Conqueror’s Haki. However, it wouldn’t be surprising if Jinbe did – it would fit his character.
Robin
Nico Robin, the archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates, has a dark past – she’s rumored to be a demon from the destroyed land of Ohara. As the only surviving archaeologist from Ohara, she’s incredibly important because she can decipher the ancient Poneglyphs. This ability makes her a major target for the World Government, and she’s expected to become a powerful fighter with mastery of Haki.
It’s surprising that Robin hasn’t developed Armament and Observation Haki yet. Considering how important she is to the story, even Conqueror’s Haki would seem fitting, especially since she’s so determined to find the Rio Poneglyph and reveal the world’s true history.
Nami
It might be surprising to see Nami ranked so highly, but she definitely has the potential to awaken Conqueror’s Haki. The story hasn’t fully revealed her background yet, and it seems like the author, Oda, has significant plans for her origins that could be revealed later on.
Following the Wano arc, Nami displayed a powerful burst of anger that seemed to function like Conqueror’s Haki. While some fans might see this as a joke, it’s possible the author, Oda, will develop this further and officially grant her a basic form of Conqueror’s Haki in the future.
Usopp
Usopp has a strong possibility of developing Conqueror’s Haki. He’s known for telling tall tales, and surprisingly, those lies often turn out to be true. He’s repeatedly claimed to possess Conqueror’s Haki, even as recently as during the Wano arc.
It would be perfect for Usopp’s development if he awakened Conqueror’s Haki. It would naturally show his growth from a scared person into a confident and ambitious warrior.
Sanji
As a huge One Piece fan, I’m convinced Sanji is next in line to awaken Conqueror’s Haki! It just makes so much sense. He’s not just an incredible cook and fighter for the Straw Hats, but his family history is loaded with royal lineage. The Vinsmokes used to rule the North Blue, and while we don’t know all the details of what happened to them, it’s clear they have genuine kingly blood flowing through their veins. It’s practically begging to be unlocked!
Sanji’s royal lineage significantly increases his potential. Combined with his incredibly rare and powerful dream of discovering the All Blue – a feat even harder than finding the One Piece – and his already impressive strength, it’s highly likely he’ll develop Conqueror’s Haki. This would not only complete his character arc but also perfectly balance the Monster Trio, giving Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji the same advanced form of Haki.
