AMD Reportedly Raising Graphics Card Prices Due To Memory Costs

Graphics cards are likely to become more expensive soon. A recent report from Taiwan’s UND indicates that AMD plans to increase prices for its GPUs because the cost of memory is going up.

This follows recent rumors that the company had begun notifying its board partners of the plan.

According to a recent report, rising memory costs are driving up the price of graphics cards. Sources within the industry say that AMD, the second-largest graphics card maker, has informed its partners of another price hike affecting all of its products.

“The increase is estimated to be at least 10%.”

Right now, I’m still seeing some decent deals on AMD graphics cards, which is awesome. It looks like these prices are probably going to stick around for anyone building a new PC or when the next generation of cards comes out.

AMD hasn’t officially confirmed these plans yet, so this information is still unconfirmed. TopMob has contacted AMD to find out which graphics cards might be affected and whether prices will go up for existing cards. We’ll update this article if we receive a response from AMD.

So, I’m hearing AMD is planning to increase the prices of their graphics cards by at least 10%, and honestly, it’s a bit concerning!
