The saying “nothing good in life is free” doesn’t always hold true! Battlefield 6 is offering a free weekend so you can try out the game. This article has all the details – including when you can play and what to expect.
Interested in trying Battlefield 6 for free? You’re in luck! EA is offering a free weekend so everyone can experience what they’re calling the year’s top-selling shooter.
Want to experience the new content in Battlefield 6 Season 1? Here’s how to access it without spending any money.
Battlefield 6 Season 1 Free Trial Dates & Times

From November 25th at 4 AM Pacific Time to December 2nd at 4 AM Pacific Time, you’ll have a chance to try Battlefield 6 Season 1 for free.
You can try it out for a full week, completely free. It’s a great offer – all you need is enough space on your device and a reliable internet connection.
This is probably a clever marketing tactic to get people playing right before the new season of Black Ops 7 starts. While Black Ops 7 is already much more popular than Battlefield 6, this free trial is a great way to try both games and decide which one you like better.
The free weekend is a great opportunity for players who don’t own the game to consider purchasing Battlefield 6 for the holidays. TopMob currently offers the most affordable way to buy it on both Xbox Series X|S and PC.
What You Can Play In Battlefield 6 Free Weekend
The free trial weekend for Battlefield 6 doesn’t give you access to everything in the game, but you can still play online with others. This includes several maps – even some new ones from Season 1 – and a selection of curated playlists.
Here’s EA’s official comments on the free trial:
Try Battlefield with our free trial! You’ll get three playlists to explore, including a relaxed multiplayer mode, all on three different maps – including the newest ones, Eastwood and Blackwell Fields. Just download the free Battlefield: REDSEC experience on your favorite platform to get started.
While Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 heavily relied on a free trial to attract players, Battlefield 6 is already performing strongly without one. However, there’s still a good amount of free content available, and it’s expected to impress new players and even win over fans of the Call of Duty series.
