Throughout the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex series, Boruto Uzumaki has gained a variety of new skills. He’s mastered techniques like the Rasengan Uzuhiko and Flying Thunder God, and also possesses the Karma power forced upon him by Momoshiki Otsutsuki. These abilities have helped Boruto quickly become stronger, enabling him to fight even the most formidable enemies in Boruto.

After the latest chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Boruto Uzumaki has become even more powerful with a significant upgrade to his sword. Thanks to information from Kashin Koji and Sumire Kakei’s scientific expertise, Boruto can now use the Uchiha’s Hagoromo Blade Technique much more effectively. This upgrade improves the sword’s strength, resilience, and how well chakra flows through it.

I’ve noticed that even though Sasuke Uchiha has been gone for a while, his influence is still strongly felt through his student, Boruto Uzumaki. Boruto doesn’t just remind people of Sasuke; he’s actively using the Sword of Kusanagi – the very sword Sasuke used – to fight tough enemies like Code, Jura, and even Kawaki. It’s more than just a keepsake, though; Boruto’s using it to perform powerful moves like the Hagoromo, really carrying on Sasuke’s legacy.

As fans are aware, Boruto deeply values Sasuke’s sword and wants to return it to him in perfect shape when he can. Unfortunately, during Boruto’s tough battle with Jura in the Land of the Wind, Jura – the leader of the Shinju Clones – managed to chip the sword with just one hand, which left Boruto very upset.

Boruto took his sword to Sumire Kakei, needing it fixed quickly. He asked her to repair it in a specific way, guided by a prediction from Kashin Koji. Sumire not only fixed the sword as requested, but also used her scientific skills to significantly improve its overall quality.

Boruto Can Now Wield the Hagoromo More Effectively

Boruto’s ‘Hagoromo’ technique is a powerful sword skill where he focuses his chakra into the Sword of Kusanagi. This makes the blade incredibly sharp, strong, and able to cut through almost anything. While using Hagoromo, Boruto has to concentrate completely to maintain a steady flow of chakra, which keeps the blade at its peak performance and prevents it from breaking.

Boruto’s improved sword now helps him fight more effectively. Sumire modified it to automatically take a little chakra from Boruto, which keeps the Hagoromo active without distracting him. As long as Boruto has chakra, the sword can power the Hagoromo on its own, letting him concentrate fully on the battle.

Even more remarkably, Sumire equipped Boruto’s new sword with a safety feature. It’s designed to recognize the chakra of authorized users – currently Boruto, Sasuke, and Sumire – and will rapidly absorb energy from anyone else who tries to use it, effectively making it unusable for enemies. This means if Jura were to pick up the sword, it would likely drain his chakra extremely quickly.

The fight with Mamushi is ongoing, and so far, Boruto’s improved sword is easily slicing through the clones without any apparent effort, even while under significant pressure.
