For years, Gearbox has given players in-game gifts through SHiFT codes. You can use these codes to get cosmetic items or Golden Keys, which you then use on Golden Chests to find powerful loot. Golden Chests are often the most reliable way to earn Legendary items in Borderlands 4, so those keys are really useful. Plus, the loot you get is always appropriate for your current level, making it a quick way to improve your gear.
New Borderlands 4 Golden Keys SHiFT Code (Expires December 2, 2025)

Randy Pitchford, head of Gearbox, recently shared a new Borderlands 4 SHiFT code on X (formerly Twitter): JZX33-ZKWST-5XT3W-JTBJ3-66BXB. This code gives you three Golden Keys, so it’s definitely worth redeeming! Just head to the SHiFT website and enter the code with your linked account. Keep in mind, this code will expire on December 2nd, so don’t wait too long to add the keys to your account.
Good news for Borderlands 4 players: Golden Keys don’t expire, even if the code you got them from is no longer available. You don’t need to rush to open the Golden Chest right away! Also, even if you’ve already finished the game once, it’s still worth redeeming those SHiFT codes – you’ll be able to use the keys in future playthroughs.
How to Redeem Borderlands 4 SHiFT Codes
- Head to the SHiFT website and log in to your SHiFT account. If you don’t have one, create one.
- Ensure your SHiFT account is linked to your gaming account via the “Gaming Platforms” tab.
- Open the “Rewards” tab on the SHiFT website.
- Enter the SHiFT code under the “Code Redemption” header, and when prompted, select the platform you’d like to redeem the code on.
