The popular mobile game, Pokémon GO, is launching a new event called “Journey to Paldea” in December. This event will introduce three new Pokémon from the Paldea region to the game. This announcement follows the recent reveal of the “Precious Paths” season, which added new Pokémon, Dynamax forms, and a chance to earn the Master Ball. The “Journey to Paldea” event is the first of many planned for the new season.
Niantic is slowly revealing details about the upcoming ‘Precious Paths’ season in Pokemon GO. One of the biggest additions will be Gigantamax Meowth, and players can also look forward to a Dynamax Hitmonchan event. The game has teased that several new Pokemon from the eighth generation will appear, including Clobbopus and its evolved form, Grapploct. Now, Niantic has announced the details for the first event of the ‘Precious Paths’ season.

The Pokemon GO event, ‘Journey to Paldea,’ will make it easier to catch Pokemon originally from the Paldea region that are already in the game. Each day will highlight different Pokemon from that region with increased appearances, including favorites like Larvitar, Bagon, and Misdreavus. Shiny versions of Larvitar and Bagon will also appear more often, with each Pokemon getting its own special boosted days throughout the event.
With the recent update bringing Nacli to Pokemon GO as part of the Journey to Paldea event, the game is getting closer to including all 1,025 Pokemon. Fewer than 100 Pokemon are left to add! Leaks suggest upcoming additions like Ogerpon and Pecharunt, both from the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC. Fans have a lot to anticipate with the launch of the Precious Paths event next week.
