Although the source seems reliable, Bungie hasn’t officially confirmed this information, so it’s best to be skeptical. Plus, since the project is reportedly in its early stages, its final form is still very uncertain.
Development often starts with outlining the story or creating initial concept art. Even if the recent rumors are accurate, it will probably be a while before fans hear anything official about a potential Destiny 3.
