Need a little help with today’s NYT Connections puzzle? I’ve got some hints to get you through the week and closer to the weekend! Let’s tackle this puzzle before we start celebrating – you’ve got this!
Read on for today’s NYT Connections hints and solutions.
What is NYT Connections?
I should probably give you some background information before diving into today’s NYT Connections hints and clues.
NYT Connections launched in June 2023 as the newest game from the New York Times, and it quickly became popular. It’s easy to understand why – the game is free to play and available to anyone around the world on computers or through the mobile app.
I love playing NYT Connections when I’ve got a few spare minutes, like on my commute or while waiting for my coffee. It’s a perfect little time-killer!
But how do you play NYT Connections?

It’s relatively simple, and that’s why it’s the best New York Times game, in my opinion.
Each day, the New York Times Connections game gives you 16 words to sort. Your job is to divide them into four groups of four, based on what they have in common. There’s only one correct solution to each puzzle, and sometimes the words can be misleading, making it a bit challenging.
The words are also color-coded to show how challenging they are: yellow is the easiest, followed by blue, then green, and finally purple, which is the most difficult.
It’s important to remember you only get four tries each day with NYT Connections. Use them all up, and you won’t be able to solve today’s puzzle – that’s game over!
