How to Complete A Honey of a Problem in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Tigger, the bouncy and beloved character from Winnie the Pooh, is now available in Disney Dreamlight Valley as part of the Wishblossom Ranch update. However, it takes some time to unlock him – he’s typically one of the last characters you’ll meet in Pixie Acres.

As soon as Tigger arrives in your valley, you can begin his quests. The first one, “A Honey of a Problem,” can be completed with these steps:

A Honey of a Problem Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

In the game “A Honey of a Problem,” you’ll find that Tigger’s house has been invaded by bees! Your first task is to help him evict them.

Begin by cleaning up the broken pieces of the beehive in the Hundred-Acre Fields. These pieces look a lot like large flowers and are fairly easy to spot. Simply ride your horse over them to clear them away.

Once players have cleaned up the broken beehive, they’ll need to build new, larger hives and some comfortable furniture for the bees. Gathering the necessary materials is the next step.

10 x Honeycomb Stones

In Pixie Acres, players can mine Honeycomb Stones from any rock. Despite sounding delicious, these stones aren’t edible! You’ll need ten of them, so it’s a good idea to team up with another player to collect them more quickly.

4 x Grassy Ore

When you’re collecting materials in Pixie Acres, you can also find Grassy Ore by mining the same rocks. You don’t need a large amount, so it’s usually easy to gather.

12 x Giant Acorns

Giant Acorns are the simplest to collect. Just equip a shovel and dig around in the Pixie Acres area.

6 x Honey Coral

Honey Coral is obtained through fishing anywhere in Pixie Acres. Keep an eye out for white ripples on the water, as that’s where you’ll have the best luck catching it.

12 x Hardwood

It looks like hardwood trees aren’t currently appearing in the Wishblossom Mountains. If you need hardwood, you’ll have to return to the main valley. You can find a lot of it in areas like Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Frosted Heights, and the Glade of Trust.

14 x Clay

You can also find Clay while exploring Dreamlight Valley. Look for it in the Glade of Trust, the Forgotten Lands, and the Sunlit Plateau – you can dig it up in these areas.

Lily of the Valley Flowers

Finally, you’ll need to collect some flowers: four Blue Lily of the Valley, two Purple Lily of the Valley, and three Yellow Lily of the Valley. You can find these growing wild all around the Pixie Acres area, so just walk around and pick them up as you find them.

After gathering all the necessary items, use a crafting table to create three Giant Beehives, two Honeycomb Picnic Tables, and one Fairy Harp. Then, place these items in the Hundred-Acre Fields to complete this step of the quest.

Talk to Snow White

Once you’ve put everything in place and returned to Tigger’s house, you’ll notice the bees are still swarming. Tigger then proposes asking Snow White for assistance.

Snow White says every beehive needs a queen, and the bees in Tigger’s house are missing theirs. That means you need to become the Bee Queen! To do that, you’ll need to make Honey Perfume and a Royal Bee Crown. Here’s a list of what you’ll need to craft them:

3 x Goose Feathers

You can find Goose Feathers by fishing in Pixie Acres, but be sure to cast your line where the water is calm, outside of any ripples.

2 x Honey Coral

You already know how to get Honey Coral from the steps above.

2 x Pyrite

Pyrite is a new gem in DDV. Players can get it by mining in the Wishing Alps area.

1 x Red Silk Flower

You can find Red Silk Flowers in Glamour Gulch – it’s where you originally encountered Cruella de Vil. You only need to collect one, so it shouldn’t take much time.

Fairy Sprinkles

Fairy Sprinkles is a seasoning ingredient that players can discover on the ground within the Pixie Acres area.

After gathering all the necessary items, you’ll need to create the Royal Bee Crown and Honey Perfume. Apply the perfume you’ve made, and then head to Tigger’s house to attract the bees.

After that, you’ll need to collect three bee swarms at Sundae Shores. You can find one on the beach, another close to the waterfall, and the third near the path to Modish Marsh. Because the bees fly around quite a bit, it’s easiest to catch them while riding your horse.

Once you’ve collected all three bee swarms, return to the Giant Beehives you set up. Releasing the bees into the hives will finish the quest.
