They said there’s been a lot of inaccurate information going around, but promised official news will be released at the beginning of next year. This statement from EA came shortly after another leak appeared, supposedly revealing details about what might be the last expansion pack for The Sims 4.

It’s worth mentioning that this information originated from another rumor that surfaced in November on the forum ATRL. A user named ‘gloamingtheplain’ claimed that the single-player part of Project Rene (reportedly called ‘Project X’ internally) will be released as a separate game in late 2026.
