LEGO Fan Builds Replica of Their Parents’ House as a Christmas Present

A LEGO enthusiast recently demonstrated incredible skill by building a detailed replica of their parents’ house, complete with a fully furnished interior. The impressive creation highlights the amazing potential of dedicated LEGO builders and has received enthusiastic praise online.

For decades, LEGO has been a beloved pastime for builders of all ages. The company is known for both its original sets and its popular collaborations with franchises like Star Wars and Harry Potter. While many official LEGO sets are available, some fans enjoy the challenge of creating their own designs. Recently, one LEGO enthusiast shared their impressive creation online.

LEGO Builder’s Replica of Their Parents’ House

A Reddit user named Phydok recently shared a video of the LEGO version they built of their parents’ house. The video starts with a close-up of the incredibly detailed LEGO model, then pans out to show the actual house behind it. Phydok did a fantastic job recreating the home’s features in LEGOs, including the roof and siding colors, the placement of windows and doors, and even the slope of the land. It’s a remarkably accurate replica!

Phydok shared photos of the miniature house on Reddit, showing a lot of detail on the outside. They didn’t stop there, though – they also rebuilt the inside. One photo showed the floor plan, with multiple rooms like a fully equipped kitchen and bedrooms. Stairways connected the different levels of the house.

Phydok shared their completed LEGO project on Reddit and explained how it was built. They started with actual blueprints and photos of their house to create the design. Using Bricklink Studio software, they carefully laid out the LEGO model, building it at a scale of one LEGO stud for every foot of the real house. What’s really cool is that each floor of the LEGO house can be lifted off, allowing you to easily see the detailed interior.

It’s no surprise that the LEGO community on Reddit loved the replica house! The post has already received over 14,000 upvotes, and people are especially impressed with details like the different levels and multiple floors. Many were curious about what the creator’s parents thought, and Phydok shared that their dad intends to build a special display area for it.

Seriously, the LEGO community is blowing my mind lately! I just saw this amazing build, and it’s not even a one-off – people are constantly creating incredible things. Recently, a group of six builders tackled Minas Tirith from The Lord of the Rings, and it was HUGE – almost 100,000 LEGO pieces! It really captured the look of the city from Middle-earth. There have been tons of other awesome builds, and I’m already excited to see what everyone comes up with in 2026!
