But honestly, if you’re like me and can’t get enough of their games, you might want to think about getting a Switch 2 just to play it. The Duskbloods is a completely new game, and from what I’ve heard, it’s packed with awesome player-versus-player and player-versus-environment combat. You definitely don’t want to miss out on Hidetaka Miyazaki’s latest masterpiece!
Yoshi and the Mysterious Book
Yoshi fans have been waiting for a new game, and it’s finally here! This game is a classic side-scrolling platformer, so it plays a lot like Yoshi’s Crafted World from 2019. It keeps the same charming, family-friendly style that Yoshi games are known for, and is easy to pick up and play. One change is that this time, it’s a single-player experience, making it perfect for young players or anyone who loves Yoshi.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave
Look, a new Fire Emblem game always gets its hooks into me – and my free time just vanishes! This series is famous for its epic stories about knights, battles, and all that good stuff. And honestly, this new one, Fortune’s Weave, seems like exactly what I want. They’re really focusing on something called the ‘Heroic Games’ which sounds awesome, and from what I’ve heard, it’s going to play a lot like Three Houses – which is a huge plus. I’m already hooked!
Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

As a huge Resident Evil fan, I’m so excited that Resident Evil Requiem, one of the biggest games coming in 2026, is heading to the new Nintendo Switch 2! It’s awesome to see Nintendo focusing on bringing top-tier games to their console, and while something like GTA 6 might be a stretch, Requiem is definitely confirmed. From what I’ve heard, it’s going to blend the best parts of Resident Evil 7 and 8, and finally bring us back to a destroyed Raccoon City with a brand new story! I have a feeling the Switch 2 is going to do Alyssa Ashcroft’s – and Leon Kennedy’s – terrifying adventure complete justice.
