John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando promises fun cooperative zombie shooting, which is always welcome. Crimson Desert looks like a large-scale action-adventure game with impressive combat, and you don’t need to be familiar with Black Desert Online to enjoy it. Capcom’s Pragmata seems like it will be a very unusual third-person shooter, but Capcom generally makes high-quality games. Diablo 4 will receive a major expansion called “Lord of Hatred” in April 2026, and it’s expected to be a hit. Finally, Invincible VS promises to be a fantastic and action-packed game.

Although this part of the lineup is still developing, May 2026 is already set to feature two promising action-adventure games: Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and 007 First Light. The new Lego Batman game will use the popular combat style from the Arkham series, adding a fresh element to the familiar Lego gameplay. 007 First Light experienced a delay, but is still expected to release.
