Okay, so in Heartopia, you’re constantly gathering stuff – and you need to! Everything from crafting new gear to building your base and even cooking food requires resources. You can find stuff pretty much everywhere, but be warned – some of the rarer materials are seriously hard to track down. It’s a constant scavenger hunt, which I actually kinda love!

Heartopia features various types of wood, and Roaming Oak Timber is a particularly valuable one. However, it’s harder to find than most, as players can only collect it once each day. This guide explains how to obtain Roaming Oak Timber in Heartopia.

How to Find Oak-Oak in Heartopia

You can’t get Roaming Oak Timber right away in Heartopia. It becomes available after you start the “Astralis in Forest” quest, which unlocks once you’ve completed 10 Daily Resident Requests.

To find out where town ranger Cassie is, players need to help some backpackers by gathering wood for them, such as logs and branches. Cassie, who is located near the Jump Puzzle, will then ask players to complete a series of challenges involving finding hidden bubbles throughout the woods. The final challenge requires players to solve a riddle and discover the location of ‘Oak-Oak’.

The riddle says: “Go across the bridge and into the forest. Look between where raindrops fall, and you’ll find my energetic friend in trouble.” The player needs to find this friend, free it, and bring back proof. You’ll find Oak-Oak – the friend – by going back across the bridge used to find Cassie. Simply use your pickaxe on the oak to break it open and free it.

How to Find Roaming Oak Timber in Heartopia

Roaming Oak Timber is incredibly rare because it only comes from Oak-Oak, the last ancient oak tree in Heartopia. Each day, Oak-Oak gets tangled in its roots and needs to be freed. Players can help Oak-Oak once per day and earn Roaming Oak Timber as a reward.

Oak-Oak’s roots regenerate daily, preventing it from wandering far from the Jump Puzzle location. Players need to search carefully around the wooden area in Heartopia each day to find it.

In Heartopia, players can only find a limited amount of Roaming Oak Timber each day. While they can use the code “h9q3a7m5” to get a small amount for free, it won’t be much. Another option is to buy Roaming Oak Timber at the Acorn Store for 20 Moonlight Crystals each. Luckily, Heartopia offers several codes that give you free Moonlight Crystals, making it relatively easy to build up your supply of Roaming Oak Timber.
