Acquiring Electronics in StarRupture marks significant progress towards the late game. To do so, players need to locate the Blueprint for the item and then unlock its crafting recipe at a Recipe Station.

How to Get Electronics Blueprint in StarRupture

To access most of the advanced content in StarRupture, you’ll need electronic components. The first step is to find the blueprint for crafting these components at the Recipe Station.

Go to the hills north of where you begin, and then travel east in the direction of the World Engine – you’ll recognize it as the large, turbine-shaped structure you can see far off.

Players will discover a small, abandoned settlement called CRO “Grey Owl” ClayWood’s Research Outpost. To find the hidden Blue Chest, they’ll need to jump onto the roof of one of the buildings.

Be careful! A large group of dangerous Vermin is coming, including many Exploders that create spreading Infestation Clouds. These bugs will first weaken your shields, and then the fast-moving Slashers will attack.

Make sure to bring Infection Resistance Plasma, which you can create from Prism Herbs. This will help you easily deal with the infection clouds and reduce the size of the enemy swarm before you try to get to the chest containing the Blueprint.

Interestingly, this spot also has a chance to give you the Stator Blueprint from the same chest as the Electronics, meaning you could get two valuable blueprints in a single visit.

In addition to the Blueprint, you’ll also need these resources to use the recipe at the Recipe Station.

You can only make electronics using the Furnace. To do so, you need to connect three Rails – each supplying the necessary resources – to the Furnace.

Electronics are essential for making a lot of key items, such as Impellers, Batteries, and Electromagnetic Coils. They’re also required to reach Reputation Rank 8 with Selenian Corporation, which then unlocks the Mega Press. This crafting machine lets you mass-produce some of the game’s most advanced items, including Nuzzles, Valves, and Pumps.
