They did this by skillfully switching between different game layers to quickly gain experience from powerful enemies. A World of Warcraft player named Zilverbro recently posted a video showing their character, a Lightforged Draenei Paladin, leveling from 10 to 80 in a mere 6 minutes and 27 seconds. They recorded the entire process and shared it on YouTube in a short video, only slightly longer than the actual leveling time.

Zilverbro quickly leveled up in WoW: Legion Remix by teaming up with high-level players. They had friends summon them to a specific area called Shield’s Rest and then defeated powerful dragons together, earning a lot of experience. By switching between different groups, they could quickly reset the area and repeat the process, rapidly gaining 70 levels in just minutes.

A player recently achieved a new record for reaching level 80 the fastest in the game, surpassing the previous record of 7 minutes and 15 seconds held by Harldan. They accomplished this with the assistance of over a dozen other players who helped them quickly defeat bosses in dungeons and raids to gain a lot of experience. Interestingly, Harldan made a slight mistake during character creation in World of Warcraft – they chose a regular Draenei instead of a Lightforged Draenei. This meant they missed out on a 20% experience bonus when defeating demons, a benefit of the Lightforged Draenei race. If they had chosen the correct race, they might have broken the new record themselves.

Okay, so everyone’s been buzzing about Zilverbro and Harldan’s crazy fast playthroughs, and honestly, they’re pretty amazing to watch. But a lot of people are arguing if it really counts as a legit speedrun since they didn’t level up the character themselves.
