EA Delays Start Of Battlefield 6 Season 2

EA has announced that it is delaying the start of Battlefield 6 Season 2.

EA announced on the official Battlefield subreddit that Season 2 for both Battlefield and Battlefield REDSEC will now launch on February 17th. The season was previously scheduled to start on January 21st.

EA announced they’re extending Season 1 and taking more time to improve Season 2. They said this decision was made after listening to player feedback and wanting to deliver on their promises.

They announced that Season 1 will last longer than originally planned, extending past January 20th. Season 2 will then launch on February 17th. An update released on January 20th will add new weekly challenges, a Bonus Path, and continue the current Season 1 Battle Pass until Season 2 begins.

So, EA’s making up for the delay with a new thing called the “Frostfire Bonus Path” starting January 27th. Basically, it’s a way to earn some cool stuff – new customizations and XP boosts. Even if you don’t buy anything, you can snag a Hardware XP Boost, a vehicle skin, and some player card customizations. If you do have the Battle Pass, you’ll get an even better reward – a new weapon package and a career XP boost to help level up faster!

According to EA, the Frostfire Bonus Path is different from previous ones because you earn points only by completing Weekly Challenges—there won’t be any separate Bonus Challenges.
