You’ll find the most Tree Sap in areas with lots of trees, especially the wooded areas near where you begin a new game in Hytale.
In Hytale, you get Tree Sap by chopping down trees. Unlike some other games, when you remove a layer of blocks from a tree, everything above it breaks too. This makes gathering Wood, Tree Sap, and other resources much faster and easier.
As a long-time player, I’ve found that using an axe is by far the quickest way to chop down trees and get stuff like Tree Sap. But honestly, you can just punch the tree if you have to! It takes a lot longer, sure, but it’s good to know you’ve always got a way to get wood, even if your axe breaks or you forget it. It saves you from being totally stuck when you really need some!
