Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus games for January 2026 that will be available on the Extra and Premium subscription tiers. Sony typically follows a pattern with its PlayStation Plus announcements: the free games for the Essential tier are usually announced on the Wednesday before the first Tuesday of each month, while the Extra and Premium game lineups are revealed around the middle of the month.
New games added to PS Plus Extra and Premium usually become available on Tuesdays. However, the list for January 2026 was revealed online before Sony officially announced it. It turns out the leak was correct! It remains to be seen if future game lists will be leaked early, but PS Plus subscribers can mark January 20th on their calendars for the next game release.
Starting January 20th, PlayStation Plus subscribers will have nine new games to enjoy. Those with the Extra tier will get eight new titles, while Premium members will receive nine, as Premium includes everything from the other tiers. The new games are A Little to the Left, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, Art of Rally, Darkest Dungeon, Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Resident Evil Village, Ridge Racer, and The Exit 8. Ridge Racer, a classic from the original PlayStation, is exclusive to the Premium tier.

When Ridge Racer launches on PS Plus Premium, it will include features fans appreciate, like improved graphics, rewind, quick save, and customizable filters. However, it’s currently unknown whether the game will have trophies. Previous classic games added to the Premium tier have sometimes included trophies from the start, sometimes not, and occasionally received them in updates. We’ll find out for sure when Ridge Racer is released on January 20th.
PlayStation Plus members can now download their free games for January 2026: Need for Speed Unbound, Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, and Core Keeper.
